Megan and Jonathan

On Monday there was no school because of Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, to let Michael get some rest and let Sandy get some errands done Megan and Jonathan came over for a few hours. The kids had fun coloring pictures, playing Ela Fun, talking to Brendan, and playing with the pretend food.

Doctor Visit

Brendan had his four month checkup on Friday. He weighs 17 pounds 11 ounces and is 23 1/4 inches long. The doctor was happy with everything, he has good head support and everything looks good. Brendan also started baby cereal on Friday, he loves it.

Bills Vs. Colts

Yesterday Travis was able to go to the last Bills game against the Colts (my favorite team) with my brother Michael who won tickets and asked him to go. It was snowy, windy, and the temperature felt like it was in the negatives. A lot of the Colts starters were out, Peyton Manning did play for a litle while, but then they pulled him to rest for the playoffs. The Bills did beat the Colts. Unfortntley the Bills did not make the playoffs, but their is always next year.

Moving Out

Well since Brendan is three and a half months we decided it was finally time to kick him out and give him his own bedroom. Unlike Patrick's nursery which was all sprorts related Brendan has a hodge podge room. Their is Mickey Mouse stuff , sports pendents, and a wacky pack poster in his room. Patrick is excited that he is in the room across from him and ask's every night when Brendan is going to bed ( We can just see the two of them shouting from bed to bed in a year or two). Patrick aslo likes winding up the mobile so Brendan can watch the bears go around.

Christmas Is Over

On New Year's Eve Great Grandma Blocho came over and we exchanged gifts with her, Patrick got Gator Golf and Brendan got sheets for his crib. Since we also did not see my brother Peter and sister in law Kim, they came over a few days after New Years and exchanged gifts. Patrick got a memory game, matchbox cars, and some shirts and jeans. Brendan got a bath toy(which of course Patrick played with in the tub also) and some outfits.

Grammy and Owen Bohrer Grandpa

This Christmas Grammy and Owen Bohrer Grandpa (and Jypsye) came to spend Christmas with us, they were able to spend the whole weekend with us which was nice. Patrick enjoyed hanging out with them and Brendan enjoyed being cuddled and talked to by them. Brendan also got to see Jypse for the first time (last time they came he did not get to see her). Santa accidently gave Grammy and Owen Bohrer Grandpa presents for the boys (a home depot workbench for patrick and a toy barn door for Brendan) so when they came more presents were opened.

Christmas Day

The whole month of December Patrick was telling us that he wanted a Walle-E robot, a kazoo, ad the Home Depot workbench, of course santa put other presents under the tree as well. Santa knew that Brendan had Patrick's old toys so he put some outfits under the tree for him. After we were done opening presents from Santa, Grandma and Grandpa came over and we opened presents from them.

Christmas Eve

With our family being so busy and evrybody having their own traditions or things to do on Christmas day it seems that we celebrate Christmas all the way through New Years. On Christmas Eve we went to church and then let Patrick and Brendan open their gifts from Auntie Tonia, Uncle David, cousin's David, Tabitha, and Madeline who live in Florida. We then went to Aunt Karen's where we do secret santa, we also had the boys exchange their gifts with their cousin's Megan and Jonathan since we were not going to see them Christmas Day.
